Moonlight Organics - Chenin Blanc

This wine from Stellar Winery - South Africa's largest producer of fine organic wines - draws it's grapes from a valley in the Western Cape where many locals believe that the light of the moon is so strong, it ripens the grapes at night.

A light, delicate, floral and slightly honeyed nose with well balanced fruit and a soft, rounded finish. A breezy growing season with cooler than average nights helped create this clean fresh Chenin, fermented and bottled young. A very accessible example of this modern style of wine, deftly balancing crisp acidity with ripe fruit flavours.
